Fuel Filter Changing the filter is easy. Clean the area, to stop any muck getting in the fuel system. Then pull of the pipes, slide the filter upwards off of its mounting, install the new one. There is a priming bulb to refill the new filter before you start the engine. My Trekka (2002) model has the 1.9dci engine and takes a purflux F500E filter.
